Are bullies worse today than they used to be?

As a teen growing up in this world, I would say #2, but there is also cyberbullying, which, I ume didn't exist in the 70s and 80s. Back then, once you got home you wouldn't have to deal with any bullying, but nowadays, it can potentially follow you everywhere.
