Can two female rabbits be together..?

Okay well, i have a female rabbit about 1 year old. Iv had her since she was born, and she is very tame. I put her in a 4-h show but, i need another one for this year but i only have one really big hutch made for them it has a big vented cage and a large bow in the back. If i got another female rabbit would it be okay? If so how old should it be and wat ?
