On microsoft word, how do you get the font to display in the drop down menu with all of the fonts?

Click on the Tools menu and choose 'Customize'. On the 'Options' tab under 'Other' put a tick mark in front of 'List font names in their font'. This will enable you to preview how the font will look before you choose it.
