you cant control how other people feel. hes asked you to move in so he clearly likes you! but there is also a lot of other stuff he needs to take in like your child and that can be a vry big ask. i would be cautiously optimistic but realistically if you love him you will understand if he needs to try to pursue other relationships that may make him happy... good luck!
