Mine, not by laparoscope, but my daughter-in-law had her gallbladder removed with that method and recovered quickly with minimal pain -- almost just a nuisance pain. Ask your doctor what the chances are that the removal will cause a prolapsed bladder, and if the chances are high, ask for a preventative procedure against it.
